In September 2009, Club Chairman, Ken Lewis, introduced a new club competition.
The competition was specifically designed to try to ensure that ALL club members could compete on an equal basis regardless of standard of TT ability, age, or sex.
The competition is ongoing over a period of 12 months with competitors gaining 'challenge points' and 'bonus challenge points'.
The challenge competition has an annual prize fund of £250 provided by sponsors HAWK EXPRESS CABS, hence the competition name.
Britannia TTC is extremely grateful to HAWK EXPRESS CABS who in addition to providing the competition prize fund, also contribute annually to club funds.

ONE point for each challenge win. There will be some players on
MINUS handicaps ! [FOR YOUR HANDICAP, SEE LIST IN DOME]
Each challenge will be best of ONE game, five serves each -

handicaps ie. Player with a 3 handicap challenges a player with a 9 handicap:
the player with the lower handicap serves first with the start score 3-9.

leave the rest to the challenge organiser. The organiser will sort out the
points and bonus points as per the rules !!
Important additional things to remember :

CANNOT
challenge Colin again untill after 30th.October.
iii) For ALL CHALLENGES PLAYED DURING
the months of December
2010, April 2011 and July 2011, Challenge and Bonus Challenge points
